Prositive aspects of our stay at Caban Coetir were absolutely mind-blowing! The cabin was cosy, warm, and had everything we needed. Even though the weather was awful, the kids still had a super time playing board games, watching Netflix, and toasting marshmallows on the porch. The playground was fantastic for some quick muddy play in wellies. We managed to squeeze in some lovely walks to Cenarth Falls, which is a beautiful place to walk the dog. Sunday lunch at the Bunch of Grapes pub, just 10 minutes away, was jaw-droppingly good, with the added bonus of being dog-friendly. Our furry friend even had a beef dinner! We couldn't find a single fault and absolutely can't wait to return. The cabin itself was amazing and the perfect size for our family and three dogs. It was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and the hosts were incredibly helpful. Nikki, in particular, was absolutely brilliant, providing us with all the information we needed and responding quickly to any questions. The location was excellent, with easy access to Newcastle Emlyn, Cenarth Falls, and Cardigan within a short journey. We discovered loads of dog-friendly beaches within 15-25 minutes and plenty of great dog-friendly pubs. The peaceful woodland park where the cabin is nestled in is simply jaw-droppingly beautiful. On sunny days, it's wow to be able to pop over to the pool right nearby. The beds were super comfy, and the well-equipped kitchen made cooking a doddle. Waking up to the sounds of birds while sipping coffee on the porch was pure bliss. We had a really cute surprise visit from a friendly squirrel that hung around for ages. Watching the red kite swoop around the pool was also pretty awesome. The cabin's central location allowed us to visit places like Cardigan, New Quay, and more by car, and Cenarth Falls were even within walking distance. It truly was a super base for exploring the wonders of West Wales.

Despite the bad weather, the kids still had a blast playing board games, watching Netflix, and toasting marshmallows on the porch. the location was perfect, with stunning walks to Cenarth falls and a dog-friendly pub nearby. Will definitely be returning!
The cabin was a bit cold and the bedrooms were small. the kitchen being used as a hallway to the bedrooms felt a bit risky.

And being able to relax in the pool while watching majestic red kites soar overhead was a truly amazing experience.
There were a few minor issues that could be improved upon. the WiFi was a bit spotty, which was annoying for my dad who wanted to stream the rugby.

Swansea is like a distant dream for us, but staying at this hidden gem felt just as magical. We were transported to a peaceful paradise with a private pool nestled in a lush garden. The kids had a blast at the children's playground, and we even had our own little oasis to cool off on those hot summer days.
